The 3D laser scanning microscope (LSM), is a technique which uses a focused laser and confocal technology for scanning. The technique is simple to apply and does not require freeze/drying, sputtering or any other pre-processing of the pollen samples.
AnaPath was the first to apply the LSM technology to identify and characterize plant pollen. Our technique enables high magnification imaging of the pollen without any artifacts. We proudly share the original article with our findings here.
